During April-National Poetry Month-Peace Corps held a Peace Corps Poetry Competition.
As much as I love words and writing, I frequently find it forced when I try to write poetry. I did not even try to challenge myself in this way.
I have, however, just read the winning PCV and RPCV (Returned PCV). Now, I am appreciating everything they have expressed even though they were not writing from Lesotho. Maybe, just maybe, they have inspired me to try poetry again.
